The Character of Handmade Fiber Art

Every portrait is 100% handmade. Wool creates an artistic likeness rather than an exact photographic reproduction. Fine hairs, tiny markings, feather patterns and subtle color changes cannot all be reproduced with 100% accuracy and may be simplified to suit the material.

Photo quality, portrait size and pet count affect the detail achievable. Small variations in fiber texture, shape and color are part of each individually made piece.

Care & Display

Keep indoors, away from sunlight, heat and moisture. Remove light dust gently with a soft, dry brush. Do not wash, soak, rub, squeeze or pull the fibers. Handle by the frame and keep safely away from curious pets and young children.

Is this a full, freestanding pet sculpture?

This listing is for a framed, raised wool portrait. The pet projects from the portrait surface to create depth; it is not a complete animal sculpture designed to be viewed from every side.

Can this medium represent a short-haired or non-furry pet?

Yes. Wool can be shaped to interpret short-haired pets, birds and reptiles, but feathers, scales and smooth surfaces will still have a fiber-art finish. If a specific texture is important, contact us to discuss what is achievable.

Can I stroke or brush the portrait like real fur?

Treat it as delicate display art. Repeated stroking, grooming or pulling can disturb the fibers and shaped details. Use only a soft, dry brush with a light touch to remove surface dust.

After placing your order, upload a clear photo and include any important notes about your pet’s markings, expression, colors, or other details. Your first design preview is usually sent within 1–2 business days. You may request revisions before approving the preview. After preview approval, production typically takes 4–5 weeks during regular seasons and 5–6 weeks during peak seasons before dispatch. Shipping time begins after dispatch and varies by destination. Complex requests, changes to the original photo, or delayed approval may extend the timeline.

Upload a clear, well-lit, high-resolution photo showing your pet’s face, eyes, ears, and important markings. Avoid screenshots, heavy filters, motion blur, strong shadows, and cropped features. Additional angles may help with sculpted or three-dimensional products.

No. We also welcome rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles, and other animal companions. For unusual pets, additional photos and notes about their important features may be helpful. Available customization depends on the product.

The first preview is usually sent within 1–2 business days, while a small number of products may require 2–3 business days. Please follow the timeline shown on the individual product page.

You may request revisions before approval. Please reply within 48 hours of receiving the preview; otherwise, it will be considered automatically approved and production may begin.

Before preview approval, you may cancel for a full refund with no cancellation fee.

After preview approval, or automatic approval after 48 hours, cancellations requested before shipment are subject to a 25% production fee.

After shipment, custom products that match the approved preview are generally not eligible for return or refund due to a change of mind or personal preference.
