A familiar expression, a curl of fur, the pattern of their scales. This custom pet portrait keychain turns your photo into a textured relief charm for your keys or bag, keeping a small reminder of your companion in the places your day takes you.

Created for dogs, cats and exotic pets, it can celebrate the life you share or hold a memory you want close.

From Your Photo to Raised Detail

We digitally draw and model your pet from your photo, then build up layers of printed ink on a PETG base to recreate fur or scale texture in raised relief. The printed charm is assembled by hand with its attachments. This combines digital design, printing and hand assembly; it is not entirely handmade or hand-painted.

Choose Your Size and Design

• Medium: Up to 1.8 in / approximately 4.6 cm
• Large: Up to 2.6 in / approximately 6.6 cm
• XL: Up to 3.5 in / approximately 8.9 cm
• Single-sided: A raised portrait on the front with a plain white back
• Double-sided: A raised front and flat printed back; the reverse is not raised relief

Size refers to the portrait charm, not the full strap assembly. Allow approximately 0.04–0.20 in / 1–5 mm size variation. Choose from the strap options offered for your selected size.

Your Preview, Revisions and Production

1. Choose your size, single- or double-sided design and compatible strap, then provide your pet photo and a working email address.
2. We create a digital preview from your photo within 1–2 days and email it to you. This is the preview timeframe, not the production or delivery time.
3. Review the expression, markings and overall design. You may request unlimited preview revisions during the review stage, before production.
4. Once you approve the preview, we proceed with production.

Please reply within 48 hours of the preview email being sent. If we receive no reply within that period, we will produce the charm according to the emailed preview to keep your order moving on schedule. If you want changes, reply within that window. Check your spam folder as well as your inbox.

Choosing a Photo and Understanding the Preview

Send a clear, well-lit photo showing the expression, pose and markings you want retained. Mention any detail that feels especially important. If your only photo is old or blurry, contact us before ordering so we can assess it.

A screen preview cannot show the physical finish exactly. Equipment settings and screen displays can cause slight differences in color and detail between the preview and each finished piece. Minor variations are normal. If something looks substantially different from your preview, contact us with photos so we can review it.

Care

Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soaking, harsh cleaners, strong heat and repeated scraping against sharp objects. Handle the attachments gently.

Questions About the Companion Behind Your Charm

How can I make sure the portrait feels like my pet?

Tell us what you notice first: one folded ear, an uneven marking or the look they give you when you come home. A clear reference helps, but your notes tell us what matters. Use the preview stage to point out anything that feels unlike them.

Is it strange to want a keepsake of a snake or another exotic pet?

No. A companion does not have to look familiar to everyone else for the bond to matter. The pattern you recognize and the quiet routines you share can be just as personal. Your charm can reflect that relationship without needing to explain it.

Would this be a thoughtful gift for someone who has lost a pet?

It may be, but the timing belongs to them. Ask gently whether they would like a portrait keepsake, or let them choose the photo when they feel ready. “I remember how much they mean to you” can say more than asking someone to move on. There is no expectation to carry it immediately.

What if I want to keep the memory private?

You can carry the charm without telling its story. Let it be a small reminder on your own terms, whether it stays on your bag or somewhere personal. Putting it away for a while does not make the relationship less meaningful.

Do I need a special occasion to make one?

No. A favorite ordinary day is reason enough. The charm can celebrate the companion who is here now: the familiar face beside your desk, the little welcome home or the personality that makes your daily life feel like yours.
