Keep them close, wherever you go.
Turn a favorite photo into a custom photo embroidered beanie made around the face you never want to forget. Your portrait can feature a pet or a person, making the hat a personal everyday keepsake and a thoughtful gift for someone whose bond deserves to be seen.
From Your Photo to Embroidered Portrait
- Upload a clear photo of one pet or person and tell us which expression or defining feature matters most.
- An artist creates hand-drawn portrait artwork from your photo and sends it to you for confirmation.
- After you confirm the drawing, the approved artwork is prepared for professional machine embroidery.
- The machine builds the portrait stitch by stitch on the beanie.
This is a combination of hand-drawn artwork and machine embroidery. It is not hand embroidery, photo printing or an exact photographic reproduction.
Choose a Photo That Translates Well into Thread
- Use a bright, sharp image with the full face clearly visible.
- Choose a front-facing or slightly angled portrait with open, unobstructed eyes.
- Avoid screenshots, heavy filters, motion blur, distant subjects and faces covered by hands, hair or objects.
- If several subjects appear in the photo, clearly identify the one to be embroidered.
Photos with a clear outline, recognizable expression and good contrast give the artist the strongest reference. Background scenery is not automatically included.

What to Expect from an Embroidered Likeness
Thread creates texture and character, but it cannot reproduce every pixel, fine hair, skin-tone gradient or tiny marking in a photograph. The portrait may achieve up to approximately 90% likeness, depending on the source photo and the details being translated into stitches. Colors can also look different across screens, artwork and embroidery thread.
Small differences in line shape, color, placement and expression are a normal part of turning a two-dimensional photo into embroidery on a flexible knit surface. Please order only if you are comfortable with this artistic interpretation.
A Personal Gift with a Story
How do I choose the photo that feels most like them?
Choose the expression you recognize immediately: the crooked smile, curious stare or calm look that feels familiar before you even think about it. Emotional recognition often comes from personality, not from a formal pose.
Can this be given as a pet memorial without making grief feel public?
Yes. Give it privately and let the recipient decide when or whether to wear it. A gentle note such as “I wanted you to have their face close on the days you miss them” acknowledges the bond without asking for a particular reaction.
Is it appropriate for someone who does not usually wear sentimental jewelry?
A beanie can feel easier because it is useful, casual and personal without being ceremonial. Think about their usual colors and clothing first; a keepsake becomes more comforting when it already feels like something they would choose.
How can I make this feel joyful instead of memorial?
Use a photo tied to a living, everyday memory: the look that appears before a walk, a favorite nap pose or an expression that always makes the family laugh. Pair it with a note that celebrates the habit or moment behind the image.
What can I write when the portrait is a gift for someone important?
Write one honest sentence about why you chose that face: “This is the look that always makes me feel at home,” or “I wanted you to carry a little piece of our happiest days.” Specific memories usually say more than a long message.
